CDisplayEX CDisplay is a fork, a viewer format comics or mangas CBR, CBZ, among other formats, which are merely compressed sequential images. Supports image formats such as JPEG, PNG and GIF. Unlike CDisplay, CDisplayEX uses 7-zip plugins to read many types of formats such as CBR, CBZ, RAR, ZIP, 7Z, LZH, TAR, ARJ, CAB, GZ, BZ2.

CDisplayEX This version is a modification I make to the latest version discontinued since 2006 (v1.4) and the purpose of this modification is the translation but in essence is to fix some things that many people dislike.

Problems or drawbacks that were found.

The keyboard navigation (arrow cursor) was slowly moving the page was made with several "tecladazos" because of mismanagement cursor keyboard event.
Some PNG graphics were displayed wrong
NO ZOOM, very necessary to see detail.
Double page repeatedly (eg showing pages 1 and 2, then 2 and 3 repeating unnecessarily page 2)
Lack of support Vista/Windows7 permissions (user mode / no admin, the setting is not saved if installed in folders such as "Program Files" due to system restrictions)

Corrections applied:

Modifying the component Graphics32 to respond properly to the keyboard cursor (arrow)
Updated to stable Graphics32 2010 which fixes many bugs graphics
ZOOM option enabled using the keypad + - or Ctrl + combining scrolling (scroll wheel) mouse
Support for Windows 7 (not tested on Windows Vista)

Sample reading progress in Windows7 superbar

Suggested use keys or PGUP PGDOWN mode to display two pages

Features highlights:

Thumbnail views of album art in the same Windows Explorer

Thumbnails to quickly find the desired page

Partial support in Windows 7

Context menu to set a click

  • Reading two pages
  • Full Screen

Recently CDisplayEX development was resumed after four years of inactivity. They are now in version 1.8 (or maybe more) that has support for multiple languages and which I recommend, for my part, I made separate development was to correct some of the errors mentioned, and add new features. Here is the official version http://www.cdisplayex.com/ CDisplayEX is much better than my version.

Furthermore, I will continue making available to you my version - "to taste flavors exist."
