How to Embed SWF Flash Files in Blogger Blogs

Blogger, as one of the most popular free blogging platforms that offers a quite professional service. Blogger is the platform that revolutionized the blogging and took it to another level. Today there are a lots of advanced premium blogging platforms which offer a very professional way of blogging, but Blogger still remains to be one of the best choices. I started my blogging journey in Blogger, 5 years ago and still I find it interesting and I admit that I’m thinking to create a Blogger blog in the near future. I remember, years ago I didn’t know how to embed flash files on my Blogger blogs and that was a common issue among the bloggers so in this article I’m going to show you all the steps you have to take in order to place a SWF flash file anywhere in your Blogger blog.
I assume that you have already designed your flash file. The first thing you have to do is upload the flash file in a web space and get the direct link. Starting from the fact that Blogger does not host flash files, you will need to host it somewhere else. There are some websites that offer flash file hosting, but most of them don’t give you the direct link for the SWF flash file.

Windows Phone has been picking up steam lately, launching the platform in China just yesterday and making headway as one of Nokia’s primary partners.
But when it comes to buying Windows Phone, the big hesitation for just about everyone is apps. Both the Android Market and the App Store have surpassed half a million apps each, but today Microsoft has an exciting (albeit smaller) bit of good news to share.

A Burger, an Order of Fries, and Your Credit Card Number

Why it’s so easy for hackers to steal financial information from restaurants.

Is your credit card number at risk when you go to a restaurant?
Photo by Pascal Le Segretain/Getty Images.

At some point in your restaurant-going life, you’ve probably felt a pang of doubt when you handed over your Visa card. How easy it would be, you probably thought, for a waiter to copy your credit card number and head out on a shopping spree. You probably got over it, reasoning that people who do such things probably get caught. And maybe you’re right. But that doesn’t mean you’re safe. The real threat isn’t that your charming waiter will steal your financial information. It’s that the Russian mafia will steal it from your waiter.

Fearing that the target audience of young boys might not want to read a book written by a woman, her publishers demanded that she use two initials, rather than her full name. As she had no middle name, she chose K as the second initial of her pen name, from her paternal grandmother Kathleen Ada Bulgen Rowling. She calls herself "Jo" and has said, "No one ever called me 'Joanne' when I was young, unless they were angry."Following her marriage, she has sometimes used the name Joanne Murray when conducting personal business.During the Leveson Inquiry she gave evidence under the name of Joanne Kathleen Rowling.

The New Apple TV Will Finish What The Mac Started

I remember watching the HD DVD vs. Blu-ray wars closely a few years back. I wanted one to win so I could go out and buy a next generation movie player. But the battle went on and on, and by the time Blu-ray won, I had set my sights on a new frontier: digital distribution. I never did get that Blu-ray player. And now I’m quite certain I never will. The new 1080p Apple TV is here.

To be clear, because of the way it’s compressed, iTunes 1080p content is not equal to the 1080p picture you’ll get from a Blu-ray disc. It’s very close, but it’s not quite there yet. I imagine it will get there as digital compression technology continues to improve. But even if it doesn’t, this is something that won’t mean a thing to the vast majority of consumers. Thanks to the marketing of television sets over the years, they know “1080p”. They don’t know that the quality can be inconstant. Fair or not, it won’t matter.

Apple Killed The CD Today

Stop. Take a deep breath. Before my headline gets you all worked up, consider what I’m saying here. The CD and other optical discs, like DVDs and Blu-rays, are obviously going to live on for a while as a way to transport media. But make no mistake that today, with two unveilings, Apple has effectively sealed the fate of the optical disc in the computer industry. Soon, it will go the way of the floppy disk.

MacBook Air Apparent

There’s this weird slit in the side of my MacBook Pro. It almost seems like a credit card swipe, or a receipt dispenser, or an air vent, or something. Oh wait. That’s an optical drive. You’ll forgive me if I wasn’t sure. You see, I’ve never used the thing.

This dawned on me the other day. I’ve owned this computer for months now and I have never had the need to insert a compact disc or DVD into this computer to do something. Not once. And going forward, I can’t imagine a time where I ever will. Okay, maybe if my computer dies. But even then, I would probably just take it into an Apple Store and let them deal with it.

The New MacBook

Today, following Apple’s Back to the Mac event, we got some hands on time with the new products unveiled. Of those, the biggest announcement was the new MacBook Air. Pretty much, it’s almost exactly what I said I was looking for a few days ago.

Check out the pictures of it in action below.

Hands-on with Apple's New iPad

It's difficult to grasp the significance of the new iPad's retina display without seeing it for yourself, especially when paired with such other substantial improvements, like Apple's new A5X quad-core processor, improved rear-facing camera and 4G LTE connectivity. But for the new iPad, it really is all about the retina display.

Apple Announces the New iPad

Apple has officially revealed the newest iPad, sporting a bevvy of new, and rather impressive features.

First up, as expected, the new iPad will sport a Retina Display, boasting a 2045x1536 resolution, 3.2 million pixels, and 264ppi (pixels per inch). When the display technology was released alongside the iPhone 4, Apple stated that, when held at 10 inches, pixel edges were undetectable. For the new iPad, holding the tablet at just 15 inches will create the same results.
