Acer Liquid E2 quad-core smartphone


Acer has recently unveiled new quad-core Android-powered smartphone, namely the Acer Liquid E2. This handset is likely follow-up to the Liquid E1 mid-range smartphone which was announced early this year. Although both Acer phones have similar specifications, the new Liquid E2 comes with more powerful processor, improve camera sensor, and different design.



Acer Liquid E2 smartphone boasts a 1.2GHz quad-core processor (instead of 1GHz dual-core CPU on the E1), 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, and runs Android operating system (the version isn’t revealed but probably same as the Liquid E1 with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean). It packs a 4.5-inch IPS touchscreen display with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels, a 2-megapixels front-facing camera, and an 8MP BSI camera on the back with zero shutter lag as well as LED flash. The Liquid E2 phone has microSD card support, dual-SIM capabilities (optional), 42Mbps HSPA+, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and FM radio.

According to source, folks in Belgium, the Netherlands, Ukraine, France, Spain, the UK, Italy, Germany, and Russia will be able to buy the Acer Liquid E2 smartphone starting mid-May for price of 229 EUR (about $298). There are two color options of phone – black and white.
