Samsung Galaxy Note III to feature Exynos 5 Octa-core processor, Mali 450 GPU, 3GB of RAM

Having just launched the Galaxy S4 around the world, Samsung is now readying the release of other high-end devices, one of them being the Galaxy Note III.

We’ve heard a lot about the Note III before, including the fact that it’s supposed to be announced in September at IFA 2013. And now here we have new (and yet to be confirmed) details.

According to SamMobile and an anonymous but seemingly trusty source, the Note III will use an Exynos 5 Octa 5410 processor with 8-core Mali 450 GPU. Its display will be a 5.99 inch Full HD Super AMOLED one (most probably not flexible and unbreakable), while the rest of its features should include 3GB of RAM (why not 4GB?) and a 13MP rear camera.

It’s said that the new phablet will be as big as the Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 (162.6 x 82.4 x 9 mm), managing to pack a 6 inch screen in a case of this size thanks to a narrower bezel. If this turns out to be true, the Note III won’t be significantly larger than the Note II (seen below), which measures 151.1 x 80.5 x 9.4 mm.
