Sony Computer Entertainment has released a teaser that’s been titled, “Celebrating 15 years of Gran Turismo,” which hints at a potential successor to the Playstation-based racing simulator.
In the video, the message “something big is happening at Silverstone on May 15th” appears, obviously suggesting that a press conference will occur at Silverstone Circuit in the United Kingdom. And rightfully so as the Gran Turismo franchise celebrates 15 years this year.
The event is said to feature a fleet of cars from Audi, BMW, Honda, Ford, Jaguar, Mercedes-Benz, Tesla, and Toyota. Five infamous GT Academy champions will also be present to show off their “real-world racing skills with some high-speed passenger laps around the famous circuit.”
Not much else is known about the new installment to the Gran Turismo line, though NewEgg has been reported to have listed the new game for sale available beginning November 28th for $59.99.
