Zopo C2 5-inch 1080p smartphone with Aliyun OS


Zopo, the Chinese company has released a new Linux-based smartphone, the Zopo C2. This handset runs Aliyun OS operating system, which developed by Alibaba and based on Linux kernel (able to run Android applications).


Inside, Zopo C2 smartphone brings a 1.2GHz MediaTek MT6589 quad-core CPU paired with PowerVR SGX544 graphics. This phone packs 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, and microSD card support for expansion. It has a 5-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels.


The Zopo C2 Aliyun-powered smartphone brings a 5MP front- and 13MP rear-facing f/2.2 cameras. Other features of the C2 smartphone are Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, removable 2000 mAh battery, Yamaha audio chip, electronic compass, accelerometer, gyroscope and ambient light sensor. Dimensions of Zopo C2 are 143.5 x 70.2 x 8.5 mm and weighs 119 grams.

Zopo C2 smartphone is works in GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and WCDMA 850/2100 MHz mobile networks. Company will take the first 5,000 customers who pre-order the Zopo C2 phablet and is scheduled shipping before the end of the month.

The good-looking C2 smartphone will be asking price of 1,399 Yuan or around $230.
