Amazon's Black Friday Sale Begins: See What's On Offer

Amazon's Black Friday Sale is finally here. Here are some of the best deals on now.
We've had our fingers poised over our keyboards long enough in anticipation of Amazon's Black Friday Sale, which went live at midnight and will last until 25 November.

Big Bose Sale: Save Up to 16 Percent on Speakers and Home Theater Systems

A lot of audio fans have this thing about Bose. They either love or hate the company and its products. However, even the people that love all of the company's top-secret audio goodies know how expensive that vast selection can be.

That said, Bose is still an extremely popular audio option. It may be even more popular, once bargain hunters get a peek at the Bose sale we found running on Amazon.

For a limited time, Amazon is hoping to ease some of that pricing pain for all of you Bose fans out there. From now through June 22, 2013, the online retailer is hosting a big Bose sale, which will slash anywhere from 10 to 16 percent off of the company's products. Just know that it's not all of the company's products. It's just 12 select ones, which includes a nice selection of speakers in all shapes, sizes and price points. Take a peek at the entire lineup on the main sale page:

These Bose 151 SE speakers are designed to live outside and deliver sound under the stars.

There are plenty of individual speakers and sets. There are also options that will help you to get Bose outdoors. We found the Bose 151 SE Outdoor Environmental Speakers on sale for $250, which is $29 off the list price. Designed to deliver sound under the stars or out by the pool, this model includes three 2.5-inch drivers in an Articulated Array design. That setup boasts big sound from a pair of slender cabinets. Also, don't worry about leaving them outside with the rest of your BBQ carnage; each one is weatherproof, so it can withstand rain, snow, salt and temperature. Find out more about this set and this sale price on Amazon:

If you're looking for something a little larger (and louder), you can opt for an entire system like the Bose Lifestyle V25 Home Theater System. This set usually sells for $2499, but Amazon is currently knocking $400 off. That will make your final purchase price just $2099, which also includes free shipping.

Of course, it also includes the set, which has a slew of funky speakers, Bose's Acoustimass module, a control console, an iPod/iPhone dock, and the ADAPTiQ audio calibration system. Besides cranking out sound, this setup is designed to bring together all of your AV equipment (or at least up to six components). It also offers video upscaling to 1080p over HDMI. Find out more about this set on Amazon's product page:

Bose has packed the Lifestyle V25 Home Theater System with a full speaker set, an iPod/iPhone dock, a control console, and more.

Even if you aren't a Bose fan, you should be able to find something that you like. However, you should probably take a peek pretty soon. Amazon is hosting this sale through June 22, 2013, but the discounted prices are only available while supplies last. Just make sure to order directly from Amazon, since the retailer is the one hosting the sale -- and offering free Super Saver Shipping as an option!

Should I Buy The Amazon Echo Plus (2nd-gen)?
The new Echo Plus offers a radical redesign compared to the original, ditching the plastic body for a fabric mesh housing that helps the speaker blend into the home environment. It’s not only better-looking either, as a larger speaker and tweeter provide improved audio quality and Dolby Play 360 audio support helps fills the room with music. What’s not to like?

Does Amazon's New FireTV Stick 4K Do It All

HDR, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos... Yup!
It seems like every year a new format comes along to make all our "old" gear obsolete. For audio video afficionados, those latest formats include Dolby Atmos immersive sound, and three different flavors of High Dynamic Range for enhanced picture quality. The three HDR flavors currently on the market include HDR 10 (the most common), HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. Dolby Vision and HDR10+ promise better picture quality than standard HDR 10 by using something called "dynamic meta data." Basically they're able to shift around the required storage bits on a scene-by-scene basis to get the best dynamic range out of movies and TV shows that are encoded in the format.

2019 BMW M5 Review

The 2019 BMW M5 sedan is a high-performance luxury car without compromise and few rivals.
The 2019 BMW M5 high-performance sedan gives us all of the feels.
The digital wizardry from the last generation is still there, but this year’s version integrates the human into the experience. It’s a better feeling super sedan on a super budget. For 2019, BMW added an M5 Competition version that bumps power output to 617 horsepower (up from 600 hp in the M5), bigger wheels and a handful of small performance tweaks. The M5 Competition starts at a rich $110,000, give or take, up from the M5’s asking price of more than $103,000.

Oppo RX17 Pro Review: Hands-on

We had time with Oppo’s new RX17 Pro. It may be blue and purple but how different is it to the similar OnePlus 6T and is it worth your time?
Should I Buy The Oppo RX17 Pro?
Oppo has made a solid mid-range phone in the RX17 Pro. Build quality is premium, fast charging is industry-best fast and the display is of high quality. But the price is high at 599€ considering the OnePlus 6T with a better processor starts at £499/€529. And while functioning as it’s supposed to, ColorOS is still unrefined for the western market with far too many changes to Android to recommend over competitors.
