Dodge prices its 2013 Mopar Dart at $25,485 w/o $995 destination

Dodge recently announced the pricing for its special edition 2013 Mopar-modified Dart, which follows the trend of Chrysler’s plan to release a Mopar upgraded model every year. Kick it off in 2010 was the Mopar Challenger, then the Mopar Charger in 2011, and the Mopar Chrysler 300 in 2012. The 2013 Mopar Dart starts at just $25,485, excluding the standard $995 destination fee.

Similar to the previous Mopar models, the 2013 Mopar Dodge Dart features a Pitch Black exterior and an offset Mopar blue racing strip that runs from the front to the rear of the car. The inside is covered in Katzkit leather with similar black and blue accenting and trimming. The patterning continues onto the steering wheel and shift knob, while Mopar blue lighting festoons the instrument panel. Ooooooo…..

Under the hood sits the standard Dart’s Fiat-based 1.4L MultiAir four-banger good for 160hp and 184 lb-ft of torque, mated to a standard six-speed manual. Also equipped is a Mopar sport-tuned exhaust. Ride height has been lowered with stiffer suspension for better handling, while 18-inch black rollers come standard.

Upgraded brakes with slotted rotors along with a revised steering calibration make for one unique variant of the Dart.
Mopar ’13 Dart: The Stylish Sedan With Bad-Boy Attitude
Every Dodge Dart leaves the Belvidere, Ill., factory with attitude, but only 500 will reach dealers with Mopar attitude right off the truck. Dealers are taking orders now for the limited-edition 2013 Mopar ’13 Dart, which carries a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $25,485 (plus $995 shipping).

The Mopar ’13 Dart arrives this summer. Each wears a signature Pitch Black exterior with offset Mopar blue racing stripe running from nose to tail. That’s a color scheme similar to previous Mopar editions of the Dodge Charger, Challenger and Chrysler 300.

Inside, the seats are covered in Katzkin leather. The driver’s seat is Mopar blue with black accents while the rest of the seats are black with blue accents. The steering wheel and shift knob get black leather coverings with blue stitching. Black is the dominant theme throughout the rest of the cabin, with Mopar blue lighting accenting the instrument panel.

Power for the Mopar ’13 Dart comes from the MultiAir turbocharged and intercooled 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine, rated at 160 hp at 5,500 rpm and 184 lb-ft of torque, mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The car announces its arrival with a Mopar sport-tuned exhaust.

Ride height of the Mopar ’13 Dart is 7 millimeters lower than the base Dart and that low and mean look is accented with a Mopar ground effects kit – chin spoiler, deck-lid spoiler, and rear diffuser – and low-profile 225/40R18 tires mounted on gloss-black 18-inch wheels. The Mopar ’13 Dart also gets premium disc brakes with slotted rotors and a revised calibration for the power steering.

Additional features on the Mopar ’13 Dart include an 8.4-inch Uconnect screen, wireless charging for smartphones, bright sport-pedal kit, door-sill guards and premium Mopar floor mats.

Each Mopar ’13 Dart will be delivered with a personalized owner kit in a custom-made black case. The kit includes a personalized plate with vehicle specifications, unique identification number and production date; a limited-edition sketch of the car signed by Mark Trostle, Chrysler Group Chief Designer for the Mopar Brand; a copy of the Mopar ’13 Dart brochure and other memorabilia.

Apple iPad Pro 2018 vs Microsoft Surface Pro 6

Apple’s latest iPad Pros are a very tempting purchase, but should you stick with the tried-and-tested Surface Pro from Microsoft? We help you decide which tablet to buy.
Should I Buy The Microsoft Surface Pro 6 Or Apple iPad Pro 11in (2018)? Two very competent 2-in-1s, one running Windows 10, the other iOS 12. For many this difference alone will inform the final choice, but both are top-notch tablets.

Oppo RX17 Pro Review

Though similar to the OnePlus 6T the Oppo RX17 Pro is very different thanks to the software. Here’s our full review
Should I Buy The Oppo RX17 Pro?
The RX17 Pro is a great looking phone with good performance and a lush display. But with a Snapdragon 710 rather than the better 845 it’s just impossible not to compare it to the OnePlus 6T which looks the same, has better software for the western market and, importantly, costs less.
If you like the look of Oppo’s interface though then there’s a lot to like. The two colour options are premium as is the build quality and the cameras are above average if not great.

Synology Mesh Router MR2200ac Review

You probably know Synology for making NAS drives but the firm has also turned its hand to mesh networks. Here we review the MR2200ac.
Should I Buy The Synology Mesh Router MR2200ac?
Synology could do a little more to explain the many features of the MR2200ac for first-time users, but the strong performance of this mesh system, and the fine-control provided by its web browser interface make it a good option for business users or home users who have a little more experience of networking technology.

LG Gram 17 Review: Hands-on

LG’s Gram 17 was on display at CES 2019 and we got our hands on the ultra-thin, ultra-light device featuring a beautiful 17-inch display
Should I Buy The LG Gram 17?
The Gram 17 is an impressive bit of kit, but it is serving more of a niche audience than it perhaps appears.
A laptop with a display any bigger than 15 is perhaps approaching a point where it struggles to be called ‘portable’ due to it’s raw size. However, if that isn’t something that bothers you, the 17-inch display is fantastic for both working and watching your favourite films or series on.
Everything else aside the Gram is a beautiful, extremely light choice of laptop that manages to pack a lot of power and utility into an incredibly slim, slick package.

Huawei P Smart 2019 Review

Huawei has updated its budget Android phone for 2019. It’s faster and better than before, but should you buy it? Read our review to find out.
Should I Buy The Huawei P Smart 2019?
The P Smart 2019 is a great upgrade from the 2018 model with a bigger screen and better performance. However, as with the original P Smart, Honor's version is better value.
