How To Convert Image To Word On Android Phones

How to Convert Image to Word onAndroid PhonesLong gone are the times where the only way to digitize something written on paper was to retype it on a computer. That was a really painful and time-consuming process.
Just imagine students with hundreds of notes and study materials trying to digitize them all. Or stay at home moms trying to digitize their recipes so they wouldn't have them laying around the kitchen in a paper form. You could also imagine the struggle of a businessman trying to digitize tons of reports or other financial documents.

Nvidia Shield TV Software Update Release Date, Features And Tips

Nvidia Shield TV Software Update Release Date, Features And Tips
Since the launch of the first-generation Nvidia Shield TV back in 2016, the media streamer has gone from strength to strength. This is thanks to frequent software updates from Nvidia, adding new features and tweaking the UI to provide the ideal user experience and a great all-around media streamer. The latest update is Shield Experience 7.0, and it’s set to be a doozy.

Here's all you need to know about the Shield Experience 7.0 update, including when it’ll be released, what new features you should expect and a handful of tips to help navigate the new user interface.

When will Shield TV get the Shield Experience 7.0 update?
Following a lot of hard work from the Nvidia team, the Android TV 8.0 Oreo update is set to be available in the form of Shield Experience 7.0 from today for Shield TV owners in the UK, Europe, US and Canada. The good news is that unlike other Android updates, the Shield Experience 7.0 update will be available to all Shield TV owners, regardless of which generation device they own.

To check whether the update is available in your region, simply turn on your Shield TV and head to Settings > About > System Update and follow the on-screen instructions.

What does the Shield Experience 7.0 update include?
While previous Shield Experience updates have brought relatively small tweaks and fixes to the Shield TV, the Shield Experience 7.0 is a complete overhaul of the user interface, helping the Shield TV directly compete with top streaming boxes like the Apple TV. The update focuses on content, providing an intelligent stream of movies, YouTube videos and TV shows for you to watch at the click of a button.

The headline is a brand-new home screen that brings content to the forefront in the form of Channels. Aside from being easily customisable with the ability to add and remove channels with a couple of clicks, the channels allow you to browse content from the likes of Netflix, BBC iPlayer and other content providers without having to enter each individual app.

Think of it as being like the drawer of the Apple TV home screen that allows you to scroll through titles of the selected app. Clicking on a TV show or movie will automatically open the app and find the content, ready for binging.

There’s more to it than that though; similar to the Apple TV’s TV app, the Shield Experience 7.0 offers Play Next, a feature that’ll bundle together all those TV shows, movies, games and YouTube videos that you’re yet to finish off. And, thanks to the device being linked to your Google account, it’ll pick up on content that you’ve been watching on your smartphone too (on Android, anyway!).

Aside from content browsing, the Shield Experience 7.0 Update provides an easy way to access your favourite apps and games. You can add and remove apps from your list with a click, and access your full list of apps when you want to do something a little different.

There’s much more available in the Shield Experience 7.0 update – with more coming soon –  you just need to download it and experience it for yourselves!

Nvidia Shield Experience 7.0 tips
The Shield Experience 7.0 update also brings with it a number of new shortcuts that help speed up navigation. You can find a handful of these shortcuts below:
  • Hold Home button to see All Apps
  • Hold Back button to bring up Settings, including a shortcut to Sleep Now
  • Double-click Home button to bring up Recent Apps
  • Hold Select (or A on the gamepad) on content listings to add to Play Next
  • Hold Select (or A on the gamepad) on apps to move or remove them.
  • While browsing through channels, navigate all the way to the left to move or remove them.

Nokia 8 Sirocco Review: Hands-on

Nokia 8 Sirocco Review: Hands-on

There’s something of a lack of new flagship smartphones at MWC 2018 but Nokia has plenty of new devices to feast your eyes on, including a sleek handset to rival the Galaxy S9. Here’s our Nokia 8 Sirocco hands-on review.
You would assume that Nokia’s new flagship would be one of the biggest smartphones (in terms of importance) to be unveiled at MWC but Huawei and LG have delayed their respective 2018 devices. So it’s a case of Nokia vs Samsung vs Sony.
Although a Nokia 9 was a possibility, the firm has actually announced the Nokia 8 Sirocco which is quite a radical phone for HMD – the company with the rights to the Nokia brand. For now, this is the Nokia 9.

Currently China-only, the new Nokia 6 will also become available in Europe in April, priced at 279€ (around £245).

Nokia 8110 4G Review: Hands-on

Nokia 8110 4G Review: Hands-on MWC might usually be about smartphones and other high-end gadgets but a feature phone has caused quite a big of hype. HMD has re-launched the Nokia phone seen in The Matrix. Here we go hands-on with the Nokia 8110 4G.
Let’s face it, sometimes old things are cooler than new one and although the Nokia 8110 4G is technically a new phone, it’s another example of the firm bringing back a classic.
Following the Nokia 3310, this is the second ‘retro classic reloaded’ and although it’s been 22 years, the Nokia 8110 is back.
