Get 6 Months Free Supercharging on Tesla Model 3, Model S or Model X

Tesla's referral program offers incentives to both the referrer and the buyer. The current referral offer allows any Tesla car buyer to get six months of free charging at Tesla's worldwide network of Superchargers.
Tesla likes to do things a bit differently from traditional auto makers. With a 100% electric drivetrain and advanced technology, the cars are different (of course) but also the way the company approaches marketing and advertising is different. While established automakers pay hundreds of millions of dollars in advertising to differentiate themselves from the rest of the pack, Tesla instead relies on customer word of mouth to sell their cars. And considering that the Model 3 was the top selling car (in overall revenue) in the United States in July and August, it appears to be working.
With Tesla's referral program, any Tesla owner who refers a sale to Tesla gets a prize and the buyer who uses that referral link also gets a perk. The current perk is that any buyer of a Tesla Model 3, Model S or Model X gets six months of free supercharging. Depending on how much you travel, this bonus could be worth a few hundred dollars. To get this bonus, buyers need to use a referral code or referral link like the one below and order their Tesla by December 10, 2018.
Tesla's Supercharger network provides high speed high power charging to Tesla vehicles worldwide. Located along major interstates and in or near shopping centers and malls, a Tesla supercharger can charge most Tesla EVs from 0% to 100% of range in 60-70 minutes. Or if you don't have quite as far to go, you can regain 60 percent of your range in about 20 minutes.

Charging speeds vary based on which Tesla you own, available charging current at supercharger and whether other vehicles are using the supercharger at the same time. Charging speeds also drop as you approach 100% SOC (State of Charge), so keep that in mind. If you want to minimize charging times, you may just want to charge up to 80% or 90% instead of maxing out your charge. Every time I've stopped at a supercharger (so far), I've had high charging speeds and never had to wait for a stall, but your mileage may vary (no pun intended).

If you order a Tesla now in the United States, you may still get your car delivered in time to qualify for the full federal tax rebate ($7,500) but you should always confirm delivery times with your local Tesla store if this is something that's important to you. If you're shopping for a Model S or Model X, you can generally find an "inventory car" or a demo unit right no the lot that you can take possession of immediately. Model 3 is in higher demand right now, so you're more likely to have to wait for one of those. The federal tax credit reduces to $3,750 after December 31, 2018 and reduces to $1,875 after June 30, 2019. These incentives may change due to changes in federal legislation. Several states offer additional incentive to EV buyers.

We've had our Model 3 for a few months now, and I must say that it is an absolute joy to drive. You can read more about our experience on Clean Technica:
