How To Convert Image To Word On Android Phones

How to Convert Image to Word onAndroid PhonesLong gone are the times where the only way to digitize something written on paper was to retype it on a computer. That was a really painful and time-consuming process.
Just imagine students with hundreds of notes and study materials trying to digitize them all. Or stay at home moms trying to digitize their recipes so they wouldn't have them laying around the kitchen in a paper form. You could also imagine the struggle of a businessman trying to digitize tons of reports or other financial documents.

Withings Body Cardio Review

This smart scale from Nokia (previously Withings) offer comprehensive body composition tracking. Read our full review of the Withings Body Cardio

Should I Buy The Withings Body Cardio?
The Withings Body Cardio does pretty much everything a smart scale can. It syncs with Withings' range of activity trackers for all-round fitness monitoring, and can use a phone's basic step counter if you don't own a tracker.

The Body Cardio is our favourite smart scale for sheer number of stats and handy info like how much weight you've lost or gained since your last weigh in. It's pricier than the others but offers just about everything you might possibly need. Our only complaint is the squiggly graphs on the mobile app.

However, since Withings has removed PWV support from the Cardio, you might be just as happy with the cheaper Body+, which now has an almost identical feature set from as little as £69/$99.

Price When Reviewed
  • $149.95
Withings (which was previously bought by Nokia, then sold back to the Withings founder) was one of the first manufacturers of smart scales, and the Body Cardio offers a wide range of health measurements. It also offers two light versions, the Body and the Body+.

Make sure you are buying the right Withings scales when looking at the best online prices: the range goes from the basic Body scales up to the most sophisticated Body Cardio scales.

The scales sync well with the Withings range of activity trackers, such as the inexpensive Go and the waterproof Steel, which looks like a normal analogue watch but measures basic activity data.

Unlike other scales the Withings scales display your previous day’s step count and a trend graph right there on the scale display. When the Body Cardio scale is connected over Wi-Fi it even provides a daily local weather forecast – handy for runners and outside exercisers. If you don't use a Withings activity tracker you can still sync your phone's step counter to the Withings Health Mate app.

The Body Cardio originally monitored something none of the other smart scales could - Pulse Wave Velocity (PWV), a measurement that is a key indicator of cardiac health. Unfortunately, blaming regulatory issues, in January 2018 Nokia used a software patch to withdraw all support for PWV from the Body Cardio, removing one of its key appeals - and the biggest reason to opt for the Cardio over one of the cheaper Nokia Body scales.

Body Cardio connects via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi to the free Withings Health Mate app (iOS and Android) and automatically syncs data after every use of the scale. Graphs help users visualize trends over time and note how their weight impacts overall health. After a few weeks, users should be able to see how their lifestyle impacts their PWV.

The app's home screen is clear and concise, showing you your health stats in one easy glance, including  steps either from your Nokia activity tracker or from your phone's step counter.

Users can set goals, earn rewards over time and celebrate health milestones. Health Mate also offers integration with 150 partner apps to provide nutrition tracking, GPS run tracking and more to make it an integrated health aid. All Body Cardio data stored in the Health Mate app integrates with the Apple Health app.

Our one complaint about the Withings scales is the graphs on the app. When you go into more detail some of the graphs turn into quite confusing squiggles, where a simple trend line would have sufficed.

Body Cardio features a rechargeable battery rather than running on four AA batteries like the other scales tested here. Withings claims that this should last a year.

Specs
  • Weight, BMI, body composition (fat, muscle, water & bone mass), standing heart rate and Pulse Wave Velocity (PWV)

Nokia 8 Sirocco Review: Hands-on

Nokia 8 Sirocco Review: Hands-on

There’s something of a lack of new flagship smartphones at MWC 2018 but Nokia has plenty of new devices to feast your eyes on, including a sleek handset to rival the Galaxy S9. Here’s our Nokia 8 Sirocco hands-on review.
You would assume that Nokia’s new flagship would be one of the biggest smartphones (in terms of importance) to be unveiled at MWC but Huawei and LG have delayed their respective 2018 devices. So it’s a case of Nokia vs Samsung vs Sony.
Although a Nokia 9 was a possibility, the firm has actually announced the Nokia 8 Sirocco which is quite a radical phone for HMD – the company with the rights to the Nokia brand. For now, this is the Nokia 9.

Nokia 8110 4G Review: Hands-on

Nokia 8110 4G Review: Hands-on MWC might usually be about smartphones and other high-end gadgets but a feature phone has caused quite a big of hype. HMD has re-launched the Nokia phone seen in The Matrix. Here we go hands-on with the Nokia 8110 4G.
Let’s face it, sometimes old things are cooler than new one and although the Nokia 8110 4G is technically a new phone, it’s another example of the firm bringing back a classic.
Following the Nokia 3310, this is the second ‘retro classic reloaded’ and although it’s been 22 years, the Nokia 8110 is back.
