Honor 20 Pro Review

Honor's most ambitious phone yet, the 20 Pro packs quad cameras onto the rear and a 32Mp selfie camera in a tiny punch-hole in the screen. We put this top-of-the-range contender through its paces.
Should I Buy The Honor 20 Pro?
The Honor 20 Pro goes all out on cameras, and it's a great choice if you love taking selfies in particular. We don't yet know the UK price (it's 599 €), but it should undercut the Huawei P30 and OnePlus 7 Pro, making it decent value.

Nike Launches Nike Fit To Counteract ill-Fitting Footwear

Nike's new app helps customers find shoes that perfectly suit their feet.

According to Nike, 60% of people at any given time are walking wearing the wrong size shoes. In North America alone, half a million people complain about purchasing the wrong shoe size each year. To counteract this issue, the global sportswear brand has launched a new app called Nike Fit.

Nike Fit aims to give customers the opportunity to find shoes that perfectly suit their feet, so they can ditch ill-fitting footwear and say goodbye to uncomfortable shoes. In developing this app Nike hopes to overturn out of date industry foot measuring systems and provide customers with shoes that work for them.

Using the latest technology and collected data, the Nike Fit app provides a scanning service that goes above and beyond traditional measuring practices. By combining resources such as data science, machine learning and artificial intelligence, the app will ensure customers’ feet are correctly sized. Both feet are measured and the full shape is recorded, providing an accurate reading and the chance to be matched with true fitting Nike shoe styles.

This simple, easy to use app works by harnessing the latest smartphone technology. Nike Fit scans 13 data collection points on the foot, mapping the morphology with lighting speed. The result is a hyper-accurate scan which customers can save on their NikePlus accounts for future shopping.

Once an accurate foot scan has been taken using the Nike Fit app, a “best fit for you” recommendation will appear, giving customers extra support in choosing the right pair of shoes. If you’ve been wondering why your shoes didn’t feel quite right, why not shop for a new pair of Nike shoes or trainers and see if you could save money with a Nike discount code on Tech Advisor? You could make ill-fitting shoes a thing of the past.

The Nike Fit app is free to download for both iOS and Android devices and can be used to aid the shopping experience for online customers as well as those who are browsing in store. Whether you prefer the digital high street or the real one, you can now find a pair of Nike shoes or trainers that are right for your feet with the Nike Fit app. Why not see if you could also find footwear that’s kind to your wallet with the help of a Nike voucher code from Tech Advisor?

Screenlimit Review

We review the Screenlimit app which lets you control how much screen time your kids get each day on Android, iOS, Amazon and Windows devices.
Should I Buy ScreenLimit?
Screenlimit does its job well: it lets kids use various devices through the day and ensures they have only as much screen time as the parent allows. There’s room for improvement, particularly for warning kids that their time is almost up and in the ease of setting up schedules, but there are plenty of updates in the works. Overall, Screenlimit is an affordable service that does what it says.

What The Huawei-Google Spat Means For You

Huawei's addition to the US trade blocklist has been temporarily lifted, allowing Google, Intel, Qualcomm and others to do business with the phone maker once again. We explain how the news affects existing customers.
Huawei's future outside China is looking a little shaky right now following Google's decision to comply with President Trump's ruling over the company, which saw it added to the US trade blocklist. Google vowed to no longer support Huawei (or sub-brand Honor) phones and tablets, meaning future devices would not be able to run Google apps and services.
